"The World Health Organization said the most common fake medicine are analgesics, antibiotics and multivitamins and drugs for fighting diabetes.
Among the most common brands being counterfeited are Appetens, Ponstan, Mosegor Vita, Augmentin injectibles, Decilone Forte, Fortum injection, Propan with iron, Voltaren SR and Inoflox Verorab injection. Appetens is an appetite stimulant for children; Augmentin is a widely used antibiotic while Ponstan is a painkiller."
